A Steady Start to the 2025 Season at Taste’n’See
The 2025 planting season got off to a slower start than usual, with delays caused by Cyclone Alftred and the wet weather that followed. While it wasn’t the beginning we had planned, we took it in stride and adjusted timelines where needed.
Planting wrapped up in mid-April, and since then we’ve been pleased with how the season is shaping up. Our strawberry plants are now producing good volumes, and we’re seeing steady improvements in size and flavor each week.

Exciting News: TasteNSee Nominated for Grower of the Year!
A highlight of the event was our nomination for Grower of the Year, a recognition from our peers that truly meant a lot to us. While we didn’t take home the award, we are incredibly proud to have been considered among the best in the industry—a testament to our team’s dedication and hard work.
Some of our TasteNSee team had the privilege of attending this year’s BerryQuest conference in Tasmania, an incredible event bringing together industry leaders, growers, and innovators.
The conference was a fantastic opportunity for our team to network, exchange knowledge, and explore cutting-edge advancements in berry farming. One of the key takeaways was the growing influence of AI in agriculture, from autonomous vehicles to robotics, which is set to revolutionize the industry in the coming years.

A Journey Full of Challenges
Farming is a journey full of challenges and triumphs. There are days when everything falls into place—the sun shines just right, the harvest is abundant, and the fruits of our labor bring joy to many. Those are the days that remind us why we do what we do.
Farming is a journey full of challenges and triumphs. There are days when everything falls into place—the sun shines just right, the harvest is abundant, and the fruits of our labor bring joy to many. Those are the days that remind us why we do what we do.
But farming is also full of tough days. There are times when despite our best efforts, things don’t go as planned. Crops can be unpredictable, weather can be unforgiving, and sometimes, we face setbacks that test our resolve.
Yet, it’s in these moments of difficulty that the heart of a farmer truly shines. As the old saying goes, “The farmer has to be an optimist, or he wouldn’t still be a farmer.” It’s our belief in better days ahead, our dedication to the land, and our commitment to our customers that keep us going, even when the going gets tough.
Whether it’s a bumper crop or a challenging season, we’re here, working every day with passion and determination. Because farming isn’t just a job—it’s a way of life. And no matter the obstacles, we keep moving forward, always looking to the future with hope.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we’ll continue to celebrate the good days and learn from the hard ones, always growing, always striving
